Just a few from Kjerstin & Brandon’s wedding. These two are amazing and have an amazing collection of people who love them. I’m such a lucky guy to have gotten the opportunity to photograph their wedding day. I’m stoked to have their album finished in the next few weeks!
Another beautiful album complete. It makes for a special kind of Christmas gift… I’m finding that this kind of work warms my heart.

Also, take a look at the rest of their photos if you need a smile: http://photos.codyjbennett.com/event/Ren-and-James
For New Years Eve, I was asked to be a second photographer for a wedding by Penny of Becoming Images. I pretty much maintain that if Penny asks me to join in something, it will be 1) a blast, and 2) beautiful. This wedding was no different. 🙂
Meet the happy couple: Ann & Andrew Klausner, they’re a an amazing duo and know how to throw a party! I was especially impressed at the little details that were thought of in advance… For instance, at the full Catholic Mass, one of the wedding favors were mini LED flashlights, as the ceremony started before dark, and the sun had set by the time it ended.
Their reception was perfect. A packed room of excited folks with great food and good music (complete with dance-floor lights!)
Anyhow, for prints/downloads of these images, check with Penny, but for a quick preview, check below!
Eli is my best friend and has been for years and years and years. Since elementary school, in fact. He was my best man a couple years back (thanks Eli!) and as we all know, one good turn deserves another. A few months ago Eli asked if I would be his Best Man. Honored, I accepted!
Now, an interesting wrinkle would present itself… I consider myself a bit of a photographer, too.
As details were flying about, it was determined that I would be the guy to coordinate wedding photos for the big day too. Hmm.
Fortunately, as time drew closer, we devised a master plan. I would be the “consultant” and I would have my equipment in the hands of my lovely wife who has helped me in numbers of other weddings. And, to increase the number of images to have for the Bride & Groom afterwards, I asked another close friend who is similarly passionate about photography: Pat Grieser. Originally, I had expected to be the brains while Heather & Pat fulfilled the brawn… It didn’t quite work out that way.
As the Wedding Eve arrived, I realized that in order to be the best Best Man I could be, I couldn’t pay any mind to the cameras in the room – I just needed to serve and be the friend. Fortunately, Pat & Heather came through incredibly well for the pressures of a wedding. We were all excellent about playing our roles and the resulting images are awesome. I’m not sure if I’ve broken Pat of the interest in ever going into wedding photography, but the wedding itself was a blast.
I did get to put on my photographer hat on Sunday afternoon when Ariel, Eli, Heather & myself went out for some beautiful portraiture with rustic backdrops and even throughout downtown Leavenworth.
And, without further adieu, I should show you a few more pictures…
And, I should leave you with a bigger version of a few favorites… Enjoy!
Okay, so it’s true that these two have been married for nearly 4 months (gasp!), but as I’m catching up on the blog, you get a nice dose of them entering the holidays.
I _might_ be biased, but I’m pretty sure I have the best Brides and Grooms. Tara and Andrew are an awesome couple. We had a blast hanging out with them for the wedding, and of course for the “Trash the Dress” Session, but mostly I just enjoy their joy of life. Tara is constantly in full cheek-to-cheek smile, and Andrew is the same. Every time I look through their photos I grin from ear to ear too. Their energy is contagious!
Anyhow, here are a few of the highlights, but click on the link to visit their event gallery with all of their images!
Check out these images from yesterday. These two are a blast. First, some time in the woods off of West Glacier Trail, then a jaunt up (and in) Montana Creek. I think the hardest part will be trying to narrow down the keepers to just a few!
These are a few shots from a wedding earlier in the summer.
Gloria & Ralph are amazing people. They have hearts of gold and a passion for serving their community. It was a blast for Heather and I to share in their special day, assisting with random things like tying ties and all of the other miscellany that arrives on a wedding day.
The ceremony was special. The room was packed and from my vantage point, it looked like every person had some type of recording device. There were cell phones, flip cameras, high end digital video cameras, and more. You could tell that there was an air of love that everyone was immersed in.
Here are a few shots from the day – take a look!

Man, I love weddings. I love the vows, the old folks dancing, the hope and excitement. I love it all.
Here’s a few shots from this last weekend with Tara & Andrew. They’re a blast to hang out with, and we’re looking forward to a post-honeymoon outing for a trash-the-dress session. So excited!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
A couple weekends ago, I was the second photographer at the wedding of Misa & Ory. Here are some highlights from the day. At the bottom, you’ll find a link to all of the images. Enjoy!
